Founder and President
Beth Falk co-founded Falk Marques Group in 2007 and produced the first Women’s Private Equity Summit in 2008. Since the company’s launch, she has directed its expansion into additional Summits and online networking and media ventures. Beth has more than 25 years experience in the conference, trade show and executive education business, primarily serving the private equity, healthcare and technology industries.
Beth has served as division head in senior executive management roles formulating strategy and leading teams to develop, plan, market and produce large-scale national and international conferences, forums and seminars. Among the organizations in her portfolio are such market leaders as Comdex, when it was the world’s largest IT trade show, The Private Equity Analyst/VentureOne (formerly Asset Alternatives and Alternative Investor, now owned by Dow Jones) and the continuing education centers at Harvard Medical School and the Harvard School of Public Health.
She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA from Babson Graduate School of Business.
Founding Partner and CFO
Raul is a founding partner of the Falk Marques Group and is the company’s Chief Financial Officer. As CFO he directs the financial and back office operations and is responsible for the analysis of financial data and assessment of financial risks. He brings to the Falk Marques Group a global perspective and extensive experience as entrepreneur in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors.
Raul has been an artist and filmmaker, and was instrumental in launching several start-up organizations. He had his early education in Barcelona, Spain. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA from Babson Graduate School of Business.
Senior Vice President
Dave joined the Falk Marques Group from Dow Jones & Co. where he oversaw the editorial development of in-person events and audio conferences presented under such brands as the Private Equity Analyst and VentureWire. At Falk Marques Group he focuses on content development for the company’s conferences and its online publications.
Dave was involved with the Private Equity Analyst Conference for 16 years, during which time he was also an editor with the Private Equity Analyst newsletter. A seasoned editor and reporter, Dave earned his journalism degree from San Jose State University.
Director, Business Development
Carolyn is responsible for sponsorship and advertising sales related to the Women’s Private Equity Summit, Women’s Alternative Investment Summit, Women’s Leadership Unbound Summit and Falk Marques Group’s other event and communication initiatives. Prior to joining the company, Carolyn held marketing director positions at The Real Story Group, a technology advisory company and Lyra Research, a leading digital imaging market research firm.
Throughout her 18-year career, Carolyn has been instrumental in establishing and managing long-term relationships with corporate clients, media partners and sponsors and business vendors. She earned a BA from Skidmore College and an MBA from Suffolk University.
Vice President of Marketing
Stephanie joined Falk Marques Group as the Vice President of Marketing in 2018. In this role, she is responsible for developing and executing the marketing and communications strategy, determining the best way to connect with the audience, and helping to develop the brand voice. She is passionate about spreading the word about the mission of the company: creating community and inspiring advancement for senior women executives in private equity, venture capital, and other alternatives.
Prior to joining Falk Marques Group, Stephanie spent more than a decade at The Brattle Group, a global economic consultancy. In this position, she directed firm-wide marketing communications and business development initiatives; identified opportunities to reach targeted audiences through corporate communications, public relations, market/client research, and corporate events; and guided the firm’s branding and positioning. She holds a B.S. in Communications from Boston University.
Director, Conference and Business Operations
Ariel is responsible for event operations and logistics for the Women’s Private Equity Summit and the Women’s Alternative Investment Summit and the Women’s Leadership Unbound Summit produced by Falk Marques Group. Prior to joining the company she was the Event Manager at BCC Research, a Market Research publishing company. Ariel also has extensive knowledge and experience in the field of Stage Management for live theatre. She earned a BFA in Theatre Arts from The Theatre School at DePaul University.
Rebecca serves as the main point of contact between the Falk Marques Group and Women’s Private Equity Summit and the Women’s Alternative Investment Summit attendees. She oversees event registration, manages relationships with the Summit’s luxury brand partners, as well as provides marketing communications support. Rebecca has a wide range of event experience, including banquets, non-profit and social events, fundraising and conference services. She graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a BS in hospitality business and a concentration in event and convention management.
Joseph joined Falk Marques Group in 2017. He works primarily on video editing, and other special projects. Prior to joining Falk Marques Group, Joseph worked for two years in Hawaii as a professional ceramic artist. He graduated from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine with a BA in Philosophy in 2015. He is fluent in Spanish and conversational in Swahili.
Marketing & Events Coordinator
Steph provides marketing and design support for various projects related to the Falk Marques Group Summits, including social media campaigns, printed Summit collateral, and web development. She also acts as the primary point of contact between Falk Marques Group and the confirmed speakers of the Women’s Private Equity Summit, Women’s Alternative Investment Summit and Women’s Leadership Unbound Summit. Steph has previous marketing and design experience working with the Fitchburg Art Museum and Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism. She graduated from Fitchburg State University with a BS in Communications and a concentration in Graphic Design.
Customer Service Liaison and Administrative Specialist
Emily serves as a point of contact between the Falk Marques Group and Women’s Private Equity Summit, Women’s Alternative Investment Summit and the Women’s Leadership Unbound Summit attendees. She assists in event registrations, customer service, and Invoicing for sponsors and general attendees. Emily previously worked as an Executive Assistant and has experience in sales in the wine and spirits industry. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a BS in Communications and a minor in Human Development.
